Macka says that Lady Saw did take her to shows trying to help Macka maneuver her way into the business, but she did it with resent and seemed unenthusiastic.
Which is the worst! Can you imagine asking someone for a favor, they say yes, but have on a screw face for the ENTIRE time. I can't stand it. Never mind then. BITCH!
"She carried me and Paula on two shows, one overseas and one here (JA), and then she didn't do anymore with us. I had heard that some people believed that we were lame artistes, but I never said anything back to her because I knew she was under pressure at the time. But through the grace of God, I got my buss in the business," she said.
"I called her crying one night because I was frustrated, and what did she tell me 'some of us lucky and some just don't'. Saw had a song on the riddim too and we wanted to do a medley and I had to beg her like a dawg just to come to the music video," she said.
Hahaha, I can't even be mad at Saw because if you don't think someone has potential, people don't want to be affiliated with you. It's a problem because that was her friend. What could you do?
And as far as the curry goat goes...

Plzzzzzzzz Dont let that fake mature shit fool u. Macka was throwing word since She started getting awards three years ago. The song " a wah dem tink ehhh true dem ship sink". It was towards Lady Saw. That beginners luck got the best of u. Macka we love u but respect the Laws.if you all r friends with somebody. U dont say any bull shit about obeah in food, that is just wrong.ah dis u ah dis in mi own yard. It means we was never friends u used me to get fame.
I probably shouldn't call Saw petty because honestly - if she was hurt, she was hurt. But in the end karma is a BITCH so whichever one should be faulted in this situation is gonna end up getting their feelings hurt. Especially since NEITHER one of them is doing THAT well right now.
