I came across a Jamaican dance show by the name of In The Dance. The show debut’s Jamaica’s top dances,new trends and exclusive songs to the dancehall community.
The host by the name of Yanique and the DJ co-host by the name of DJ Diamond introduce reggae artists, new dance groups, and new dances that are taking the dancehall by storm.
When I saw the clip of the dance show my first reaction was “Finally Jamaica has done it.” It’s about time there is a show to showcase Jamaican artists and dancers in a structured way. The show reminds me of a Jamaican Soul Train.
The energy that the show emits is sure to have any amateur dancer dancing. It’s great to see our dancehall community promoting something positive and fun that people can learn from.
