LAWWWWWD GOD!! Daggaring season will NEVER END!!
Before I even start anything, lets big up SKERRIT BWOY on his big birthday eXXXtravaganza!! The man is a party animal and does it well!
His birthday bash went down this past Friday at CLUB 24 and it was WILD! Wild like DANCERS GONE WILD! Wild and a little bit dangerous! I got to give props to dancers without knee pads and body armor -- they take dancing to another level.

Did you know that CLUB 24 stays open till 4:30am?? It was news to me! When I got there, I thought I was late, I thought I was missing the main attraction but 'lo and behold SKERRIT BWOY wasn't even at the venue yet.
So I started off chatting it up with a few friends, taking a few pictures and making my way to the bar. Do me a favor.. the next time you visit CLUB 24, tell this bartender (pic below) to FUCK OFF and don't tip him.
I really hate to wish bad on people but this dude was trifling! After I spent ENTIRELY too long waiting for him to acknowledge me, my friend and I ordered two drinks. A tequila shot and a vodka tonic and yes.. the tequila was for me.
So of course the dutty stinkin' bartender went STRAIGHT for the PATRON. I had to correct him and let him know that I am NOT too fly for rail and do you know this steroid infused bastard straight up went to the next customer??!!!
Like my rail tequila request wasn't a good enough of a purchase. Not everybody can FLOSS like Flippa Mafia and Soulja Boy! Him bright and fiesty!
I started snapping pictures all up in his face. FLASH!! Flash! FLASH!! Say cheese! And took my pictures straight to the bar manager to file a complaint. I just don't understand people sometimes. *kiss teeth* Him face favor mongrel!!
But other than that, the night was WAAAAAY too much fun! The crowd was HYPE!! Some girls were spinning around on their head tops, while the others proved that they can tip pon dem toes!
I felt like I was partying in New York because the crowd was LIVE and the music was on point, it was a great balance between Dancehall and hip hop and trust me, DC is not known for such a good balance.
Usually, if you wanna hear hip hop.. you have to go to a hip hop party. If you want to hear Dancehall, you'd have to go to a Dancehall party. Very rarely do they combine the two and they actually do it well. What's worse than going to a party and the during the Dancehall segment they start playing ACTION by Nadine Sutherland & Terror Fabulous??
When they buss out the Shabba Ranks next -- TING A LING A LING!
I'm telling you, DC is not known for good combinations. But the mix on FRIDAY NIGHT was one fire.. they did it up for Skerrit Bwoy's birthday..
The BLACK ROOM was packed with nothing but DC's FINEST! I mean, check the pics.. the club was filled with nothing but FLY GIRLS and SEXY FELLAS! They were clean cut, well dressed, wore cute shoes and smelled good.
As you know, SKERRIT BWOY is a dance-a-holic so the place was FILLED TO CAPACITY with dancers from EVERYWHERE!
People hopped on buses, planes and trains to make it to this party.. so where were you?? Even SKERRIT BWOY came with a tour bus full of out-of-towners who just couldn't miss the big event.

Lol, well, daggering's always seemed pretty crazy to me. But maybe that's because it's not big here at all. Norwegians are pretty shy when it comes to dancing in general, and if anyone danced like that, I can't even imagine the reactions. =P

it's pretty non-existing. poor me =P
when i say i listen to dancehall, most people don't understand what i'm talking about. everyone knows what reggae is, of course, but many can't name any other artist than bob marley. some hipster kids will always claim they like burning spear or peter tosh better, just to brief with their good taste in music. reggae's considered kinda intellectual here.
