JIMMY CLIFF INDUCTED INTO ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME

Several reports have confirmed that reggae legend, Jimmy Cliff will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for 2010. With his hits like "Sitting in Limbo," "The Harder They Come," "You Can Get It If You Really Want," and "Many Rivers to Cross," Jimmy Cliff became the first international reggae superstar that led the way for artists like Bob Marley. Cliff has made outstanding impact on rock, pop, and reggae music for over 40 years and now he is finally getting his just due.

The Hall of Fame Ceremony is set to take place on March 15th, 2010 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. There, Cliff will be joined by the ABBA, Genesis, The Hollies and The Stooges, who will all be inducted into the Hall of Fame as well. The ceremony will air live on Fuse, which is Madison Square Garden's national music television network.

"We are very happy to present this year's inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as they represent a great cross-section of artists that define the broad spectrum and history of rock and roll and people that have contributed immeasurably to our business," says Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation President & CEO Joel Peresman.

Big ups to Jimmy Cliff for making the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
