Wha gwaaan Eek A Mouse?? It looks like you just can't get a break, huh?
Eek A Mouse, also known as Ripton Joseph Hylton was scheduled to appear in court for a trial on rape and kidnapping charges this week but missed his court date due to circumstances beyond his control.. his flight from Europe was cancelled because of the volcanic ash clouds that posed a threat to over 6000 flights in the area.
But not even volcanic ash clouds stopped Superior Court Judge Jerry Tillett from issuing a warrant for Eek A Mouse's arrest.
"It was difficult for me to understand why the judge thought this was willful," stated Eek A Mouse after his motion to continue the case for 60 days was denied.
Back in August 2008, Eek A Mouse was charged with first degree kidnapping, second degree rape and possession of cocaine.
According to police reports, a 23 year old woman was held against her will by Eek A Mouse at a motel but Eek A Mouse denies all charges.

He is a fucking drug addict rapist with no heart. There will be more and more and more victims. Sorry to say. He needs to be stopped! Just because he is thought of as a star does not mean he is "cool". His poor children have suffered along with every woman he has stolen sex from. I and I do not know whether the charges named against Eek a Mouse are true or not & I hope that they are not. But I always hold out on the side of mercy & skepticism when any black man is charged with a crime in the heart of Babylon ; the USA. Every man have him trail & crosses to bear in this life, regardless.
As far as the Mouse's music & his lyrics in particular are concerned; Eek A Mouse has always railed & spoken against crime & rape. For example, in the songs "Ghetto Living' & Ganja Smuggling" he tells how his mother always warned him when he sang "No rob drug store, else police make his back sore. & also how his mother warned her daughter, don't turn no whore, but admonished, just take the sufferation so". Those are the lyrics of a sufferer who has taken his message of encouragement to the four corners of the world. Stories about, assassinations, povert, rain, storms,broken, broken windows & doors, holes in one's clothes & shoes. Five people to one bed while four are sleeping on the floor. I can relate to that scenario right now, here in America. Eek A Mouse's lyrics have encouraged & strengthened me in ways Babylon will never know. "Who feels it, knows It". I & I pray for me bredren. & if he was gone astray, so many miles away from yard, I pray that Jah Guide & protect the Idrenfeuding his time of tribulation against the evil & wicked forces of babylon, now arrayed against him. Wow, I love your positivity and enlightenment. You made me look at this case in a different point of view. As you said, I do hope that the charges against him are false. But if it is true, i hope he recognizes the error of his ways and turn his life around.
