CHAKA DEMUS AND PLIERS ARE SUING THEIR RECORD COMPANY FOR $10 MIL OF UNPAID ROYALTIES

Yes people, you read it right!!

Chaka Demus and Pliers filed a lawsuit earlier this week against Universal Music Group for unpaid royalties and trademark infringement.

According to the two artists, they signed a recording deal with the label back in 1992 which allowed the artists to retain all rights to the trademark Chaka Demus and Pliers but says that Universal Music withheld the monies and royalties from the inception of the agreement.

But hear this..

Not only are they asking for a court award of OVER $10 million (US DOLLARS by the way) but they're also demanding an injunction ordering that Universal Music cease the sale, production and performances of their music!!

You think they'll get it??
