According to Mavado's manager, about two weeks ago Drake decided to donate US$25,000 (JA$2.15 mil) to help Mavado towards his goal of building a Learning Center in his hometown, Cassava Piece.
Just a few months ago Drake shot the video for his single, "FOR YOUR LOVE" right in Jamaica where they featured shots all throughout the gully side but was hit with a lot of controversy stating that Drake and Mavado were helping towards the negative reflection of Jamaica's culture and its people.
So here is the Gangsta for Life and Young Money teaming together to do something positive for our little island under the sun.
The Learning Center will consist of a computer lab and a library and will be open to the community for all to enjoy, learn and benefit from.
