If you don't know where you came from you won't know where you're going! History was always the subject I paid the least attention to in school growing up and now I see that it was probably the most important.
And the same goes for reggae music.
Music evolves throughout the years but one things for sure, if you don't familiarize yourself with the ORIGINATORS, you probably don't even know what you're talking about.

Reggae music itself comes to mind when I hear this tune, "Yuh pick him up, yuh lick him down, him bounce right back.. what ah HARD MAN FI DEAD!!"
Dem ah fight reggae music.. but him nah go no where!!
