The most popular radio host, Dr. Kingsley "Ragashanti" Stewart.. QUIT!
On a radio station named NewsTalk 93FM, you wouldn't normally expect a show like "Ragashanti Live" which was popularly known across the island as the most controversial "mix up and blenda" on the radio.
The environment at the station was always tense because the elitists at 93FM didn't approve of the content on Ragashanti's show, but popularity has its perks!!
Ragashanti Live was the money making show on the station so his lewd topics and raw conversations MUST GO ON because at the end of the day, money makes the world go 'round!
So I wonder what the station is going to do now that Ragashanti Live is officially GONE!
Ragashanti Live was a 2 hour show, but 40 minutes into the program an order was given for the microphone to be cut. Ragashanti later explained that he was tired of the continued harassment and constant fight over the nature of the program.
He did admit that at times the show engaged in trash talk but made it clear that his tactics proved to be a success.
Apparently, quitting wasn't a hard decision for him because he was already getting better offers, one in particular which he hopes to seal the deal with this coming Thursday.
