This past Friday, Garfield Vassell, better known as ZEBRA was sentenced to 30 years and will now be residing in the St. Catherine District Prison for buggary and carnal abuse charges for molesting his girlfriends daughter.

This is surely not the first time he was found guilty of a sexual assault type of charge and with this type of trend, will he ever stop? Did he even try to stop?

It's crazy that when I hear the name ZEBRA.. the first thing that come to mind isn't his once upon a time career in the dancehall industry. Instead, it reminds me of that nasty old guy from Family Guy..

I saw a lady on the train the other day that I suspected to be a 'bleacher' and usually I'm not the one to really pay that much attention to someone's complexion.. but in this case, something seem kinda off. Is she bleaching.. or is she light skin?

So I started looking for clues.. and sure enough, the answer was in her hands. You can see the strange discoloration in her hands in those "hard to bleach" parts.

In the video below you can see the strange discoloration in Vybz Kartel's hands.. is this what happens to all bleachers??

You can't bleach your skin and say that you love yourself. How can you not love the skin you're in? Thats a basic..

And whats worse is that in the end.. you look worse. You start looking like a cancer patient, not to mention you might actually become one when you start to look at the health aspect of the whole thing.

I shake my head, but I know why this is happening. We are living proof that the affects of slavery has us brainwashed.. and we need to take some responsibility in the fact over a century has passed and we've allowed our minds to become weak. EXERCISE YOUR MIND... the devil preys on the weak-minded.

I'm not a preacher... so I'm not gonna preach. But seriously, if yuh Black, yuh BLACK! No eraser, bleaching cream, cake soap or prayer gonna change that.

And if your goal was really to fade a dark spot or to even out your skin tone, here's a beauty tip.. use shea butter.

I got to big up DAMION COOPER for introducing me to Protoje's very first mixtape back in my college days, since I've been following his music for so long I appreciate it so much more. I heard where it came from and how it manifested into what it is today and the best part is that PROTOJE is getting bigger and better as the days go by so I can only imagine what to expect for the future.

This mixtape/sampler is really cool because it comes with a lot of extra's, you get music, you get pics, you get a bio, history and some real interesting interludes between each track.

AND he gives us just enough to keep us wanting more, the way a sampler should be!
