Even from back in the days, reggae harmony groups were singing that a man should never let a woman know how much he care. And its true!!
For some random reason.. even though most women talk about how they want a man that's loving and shows affection.. yadda yadda yadda.. there is some sort of magnetic force that draws a woman closer to the man that pulls away.
